WAPDA is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced professional to join as a Consultant for Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) under the Diamer Basha Dam Project (DBDP). The details of the position are as follows:

Position Details:

Eligibility Criteria for Wapda Jobs 2024:

Qualification:

• Master’s/BS Degree in Archeology/Anthropology from an HEC-recognized university.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant foreign qualifications.

Experience:

• Preferable: 10 years of relevant experience
• Mandatory: 5 years of relevant experience

Tenure:

• The appointment will be on a contract basis for 1 year, extendable based on individual performance and organizational needs.

Pay Package:

• Market-based salary.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Authority in implementing the Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP).
• Coordinate with and raise awareness among contractors involved in dam activities in the direct and indirect impact areas.
• Collaborate with the Land Acquisition & Resettlement (LA&R) Wing/DBDP.
• Monitor and evaluate CHMP-related activities.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Authority.
