WAPDA is excited to announce a paid internship scheme aimed at graduate university students seeking professional experience to enhance their portfolios and fulfill academic requirements. This programme offers an invaluable opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain real-world experience, and learn workplace ethics at one of Pakistan’s most respected organizations.
Internship Details:
- Disciplines & Seats:
- Electrical/Electronic & Mechanical Engineering: 16
- Civil Engineering: 14
- Geological Engineering: 5
- Computer Sciences / Information Technology: 3
- Finance & Accounting: 5
- Human Resource Management: 5
- Mass Communication: 2
- Total Interns: 50
- Duration: 8 Weeks (2 Months)
- Stipend: Rs. 20,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria:
- Fresh or recent graduates (maximum 3 years since graduation)
- Maximum age limit: 26 years
- Minimum CGPA: 2.8
Seat Allocation:
- Open Merit: 20 seats
- Provincial Quota:
- Punjab: 6 seats
- Sindh: 6 seats
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6 seats
- Gilgit Baltistan: 3 seats
- Balochistan: 3 seats
- Azad Kashmir: 3 seats
- Ex-FATA: 3 seats

Instructions & General Conditions:
- Eligible candidates should submit their applications online via the Google Form link available on the WAPDA official website: www.wapda.gov.pk under the careers section.
- Deadline for Application Submission: 8th November 2024
- Incomplete or incorrect applications, or those submitted after the deadline, will be rejected.
- Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted.
- Successful completion of the internship does not guarantee employment.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews; no TA/DA will be provided.
- Candidates must have a working bank account registered in their name.
- Applicants must be from HEC-recognized universities or relevant boards.
- Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
- WAPDA reserves the right to withhold or cancel applications at any stage without assigning reasons.
