AIOU invites applications for the following positions on regular/contract basis.

Main Campus (Contract Basis):

1. Director IET (BPS-20)
   • Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree in relevant field.
   • Experience: 17 years in educational program management, media production, and management, with 4 years in BPS-19 or equivalent.
2. Director IT (BPS-20)
   • Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
   • Experience: 17 years in IT operations, including 4 years in BPS-19 or equivalent.
3. Chief Security Officer (BPS-19)
   • Qualification: Retired Commissioned Officer (Maj. or higher) from Pak Army.
   • Experience: 12 years in relevant field.

Regular Basis:

1. Assistant Treasurer (BPS-17)
   • Qualification: CA/ACMA or Master’s in Finance/Commerce.
2. Graphic Designer (BPS-17)
   • Qualification: Master’s in Fine Arts/Graphic Design.
   • Experience: Professional experience in design and media production preferred.
3. Overseer (Electrical/Civil) (BPS-14)
   • Qualification: BS/Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering.
   • Experience: 2 years in relevant field preferred.
4. Composer (BPS-14)
   • Qualification: Intermediate in Computer Sciences or FA with a 1-year certificate in Computer Operations.
5. Imam Masjid/Khateeb (BPS-13)
   • Qualification: Dars-e-Nizami/Fazil Arabi. Preference for Hafiz-e-Quran.
   • Experience: 3 years as Imam in a Government Department.
6. Call Centre Supervisor (BPS-11)
   • Qualification: Intermediate.
   • Experience: 2 years of supervising a call centre.

Regional Centers (Regular Basis):

1. Assistant Regional Director (BPS-17)
   • Qualification: Master’s Degree from HEC recognized university.
2. Student Counselor (BPS-16)
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from HEC recognized university.
3. Driver (BPS-05)
   • Qualification: Literate with HTV/PSV driving license.
4. Naib Qasid (BPS-02)
   • Qualification: Literate.
5. Sanitary Worker (BPS-02)
   • Qualification: Literate.
6. Chowkidar (BPS-02)
   • Qualification: Literate.

Terms and Conditions for AIOU Jobs 2024

1. Application Submission:
   • Candidates for positions BPS-05 and above must apply online via the AIOU Job Portal: careers.aiou.edu.pk.
   • Hard copies are only accepted for BPS-02 positions, which must be submitted in person.
2. Age Limit:
   • Maximum age limits are relaxed according to government rules.
3. Application Fee:
   • Application fees must be paid as follows:
     • BPS-02: Rs. 200
     • BPS-05 to BPS-15: Rs. 500
     • BPS-16: Rs. 1000
     • BPS-17 & BPS-18: Rs. 1500
     • BPS-19: Rs. 2000
     • BPS-20: Rs. 3000
   • Fee challans must be presented at the time of the test/interview.
4. No TA/DA:
   • No travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided for attending tests/interviews.
5. Incomplete Applications:
   • Applications that are incomplete or do not comply with the instructions will not be considered.
6. Required Documents:
